On/Off Control: The switch provides on/off control for a variety of lighting and fan loads, including up to 5A of LED, ELV, MLV, or fluorescent lighting, and up to 3A for fans.
Smart Home Integration: When paired with a Lutron Smart Hub (sold separately), the switch can connect with a wide range of smart home devices and voice assistants, such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home. The hub uses a local network rather than Wi-Fi to control devices, ensuring they still work even if your Wi-Fi goes down.
Installation: A neutral wire is required for installation. It is designed to be installed in as little as 15 minutes with step-by-step instructions available. The switch is also capable of being used in 3-way or multi-location setups with a wired accessory switch or a wireless Pico remote (sold separately).
Aesthetic: The switch is a "rocker" style, designed to match the look of other paddle-style switches and dimmers in a home.
