APC Metered 1U 15A 100/120V 8-Outlet Rack Power Distribution Unit

The APC AP7800B is a metered power distribution unit for standard 19-inch racks that operate on 100 or 120 volt circuits. It draws up to 15 amps through its NEMA 5-15P plug and distributes that power across eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, delivering a total load capacity of 1440 volt-amps. Because the chassis takes only one rack unit of height, it leaves more room for critical equipment.

A front panel display shows the live aggregate current so technicians can spot a potential overload before it happens. During adds, moves, and changes you can balance loads with confidence instead of relying on rough estimates.

Remote access is built in. Using SNMP, Telnet, or a web browser you can update firmware, set threshold alerts, and review usage statistics without stepping into the server room. This capability is particularly useful for managed service providers or IT teams that support branch locations.

The 12-foot cord offers flexible placement inside or outside the rack, and cUL and UL listings verify that the unit meets widely recognized safety standards.
