The APC SBP10KRMT4U is a service bypass panel designed to keep your servers, network switches, or industrial controllers powered while you perform maintenance on the attached UPS. Instead of shutting down the rack, you can transfer the load to utility power in a few moments and continue working without interruption.
The panel accepts 200, 208, or 240 volt input and supports up to 100 amps, giving you as much as 20000 VA of capacity. An input that is hardwired and uses three wires feeds six outlets on the front: three NEMA L6-20R connectors for moderate-draw devices and three NEMA L6-30R connectors for higher-demand hardware.
Installation is straightforward because the unit fits into a standard rack and occupies 4U of space. Front access to breakers and outlets means you can route cables or reset protection without reaching behind other gear. Circuit breakers are built in to help guard attached equipment.
Operating efficiency comes in at about 99 percent, so almost all incoming power reaches your load instead of becoming heat.
