The APC SURT001 is an isolation transformer built for Smart-UPS RT systems that need up to 3000 VA of protected power at 230 V. It delivers electrical separation and voltage conditioning so servers, storage arrays, network switches, or industrial controllers stay online and safe when the utility feed is less than ideal.

APC designed the unit for the rack. It occupies 3U of vertical space and comes with rails and mounting hardware, allowing you to slide it into the lower portion of a cabinet where its 56.82 kg weight is easier to manage. Once in position, you connect the IEC 60320 C20 input, attach the included jumper cable, and power equipment from the IEC 60320 C19 outlet.

Facilities that host branch offices, edge data centers, production lines, or test labs will appreciate the 16 A input tolerance and the operating temperature range from 0 to 40 °C. These specifications give the transformer the flexibility to work in climate-controlled server rooms as well as warmer wiring closets.
