The Eaton 9PX6K is an uninterruptible power supply that uses double conversion technology and operates online, delivering 6000 volt-amperes and 5400 watts of consistent, clean power to servers, storage arrays and network appliances.
This design creates an electrical barrier between utility power and your equipment, so even severe sags, surges or frequency shifts never reach sensitive electronics. For small to midsize data centers, edge computing racks, medical imaging suites or industrial control cabinets, it provides the steady output that keeps applications running and prevents corrupted data or unexpected shutdowns.
Lead-acid battery modules sit behind the front panel and can be hot swapped in minutes without taking the load offline. Eaton ABM charging logic keeps those batteries at the optimal state of charge, a practice that can add up to 50 percent more service life compared with conventional float charging. When longer backup windows are needed, optional external battery packs connect quickly to stretch runtime from minutes to hours.
Day-to-day oversight is simple. The built-in LCD shows input, output and battery metrics at a glance, while an included NETWORK-M2 Gigabit card offers browser-based and SNMP management from anywhere. You can schedule orderly shutdowns, push alerts to email or integrate the UPS into popular virtualization and building management platforms without extra gateways.
Installation is flexible. The 3U chassis slides into a standard 19 inch rack or stands upright with the supplied tower feet. A hardwired output panel supports wiring directly to a distribution panel, and L6-20R along with L6-30R receptacles are ready for equipment cords. The L6-30P input plug fits common high-capacity wall outlets, so you can be up and running without custom cabling.
In normal operation the unit reaches up to 93 percent efficiency, a level that cuts waste heat and lowers utility costs without sacrificing the protection that double conversion provides.
