I believe this was made in the 1970s v4
This is the early model LPB-1 (LINER POWER BOOSETER-1).
It's a small booster that produces a warm, natural sound, rather than the occasional distortion of modern effectors.
I think that it can be used to add distortion and bulge cleanly, or to add bulge to a distortion effector.
The design is simple, and the point-to-point wiring makes the sound clear and lightweight, making it easy to carry.
