The Intel E810XXVDA4BLK is a four port 25 Gigabit Ethernet adapter built for servers that need more bandwidth than a 10 Gigabit card can deliver. Each SFP28 cage can run at 25, 10, or 1 Gigabit, so you can connect to today’s network and step up the speed later without replacing the hardware.

The card installs in a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, giving it enough bus bandwidth to drive all four ports at full line rate. At the heart of the design, the Intel Ethernet Controller E810 handles packet processing and offloads tasks that would otherwise consume valuable CPU cycles.

RDMA support with RoCE v2 and iWARP lets applications move data between servers with lower latency and reduced CPU load. That capability is especially useful for NVMe over Fabrics storage, MPI based computation, and large database clusters. SR-IOV and Virtual Machine Device Queues carve the adapter into separate paths, so each virtual machine or container gets predictable network performance even when the host is busy.

On-chip Quality of Service and detailed traffic management features allow administrators to set bandwidth limits or priorities per flow, keeping critical services responsive. Because the ports accept both copper direct attach cables and fiber transceivers, you can choose the cabling that fits your rack layout and budget.

This card is a solid choice for enterprise virtualization hosts, hyperconverged clusters, high performance computing nodes, or any server that needs dependable 25 Gigabit connectivity in a full height PCIe slot.

Highlights:
  • Four SFP28 ports that operate at 25, 10, or 1 Gigabit Ethernet
  • PCIe 4.0 x16 interface provides ample bus bandwidth
  • Intel Ethernet Controller E810 optimizes throughput and latency
  • RDMA with RoCE v2 and iWARP accelerates data movement
  • SR-IOV and Virtual Machine Device Queues enhance virtualization efficiency
  • On-chip Quality of Service and traffic management tools
  • Works with copper direct attach cables and fiber transceivers
  • Full height bracket for standard server chassis
