Shure MXWAPT8 8-Channel Access Point Transceiver

The Shure MXWAPT8=-Z10 is an eight channel access point transceiver built for Microflex Wireless systems. It sits on the network and serves as the RF bridge, carrying encrypted audio from wireless microphones to Dante enabled mixers, DSPs, or recorders while returning control data in the opposite direction.

A single Cat5e or Cat6 cable supplies both power and audio because the unit supports PoE and native Dante networking. This approach removes the need for separate power lines and analog cabling, keeping installations cleaner and easier to manage.

The housing mounts on a wall or standard ceiling tile with the included plate, and the paintable cover allows the device to blend into any décor. An internal spatial diversity antenna handles RF reception, and front-panel LEDs give at-a-glance status for power, network activity, and RF health.

Once connected, the transceiver scans the surrounding spectrum, chooses clear frequencies automatically, and adjusts RF output power to match the size of the room. Audio travels with AES 256 bit encryption, making the system a solid choice for corporate boardrooms, government chambers, classrooms, and anywhere that demands both security and clarity.
