The Tripp Lite PDU4PKIT is a rear support rail kit designed for select 1U Automatic Transfer Switch PDUs that are installed in EIA standard 4-post racks or enclosures. Heavy input plugs and power cables often pull on the back of a PDU and can cause the chassis to sag; this kit reinforces the rear of the unit so it stays level and secure.

Each kit includes two rail assemblies that arrive in front and rear sections. The front sections fasten directly to the PDU with the supplied screws. The rear sections attach to the rack using the cage nuts and screws available in most rack hardware sets. The rails telescope from 22.8 to 36 inches, so they adapt easily to different rack depths. Because the assemblies slide, you can position the PDU, line up the mounting holes, and lock everything in place without removing other equipment.
