Vintage Springfield, Pennsylvania cast iron tricentennial plaque which recognizes the Springfield Fire Company which was chartered in 1920. Springfield is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania located about 10 miles west of Philadelphia. Springfield was first recognized as a governmental entity in 1686, so this tricentennial plaque commemorates 1686 to 1986. Beautiful raised embossed lettering candy graphics. Mounting hole at top for easy wall hanging. Very good overall condition with no cracks or breaks to the cast iron. Displays Beautifully!! Light surface rust on back as shown.
