A latin phrase meaning "One from many," the phrase offered a strong statement of the American determination to form a single nation from a collection of states. The stars represent all the states of the Union. This pin belonged to a Veteran of WWII that resided in Ridgeland, Mississippi that i lnew personally. It is gold tone not sure if it is gold plated or not. No hallmarks or markings.
